The Box

A box came to the house. Nobody told me. I went to look.

The people took out the thing inside. They kept the thing. They left the box. People are strange.

I put one paw in. Then I waited. You should always wait.

Then there was a noise. It was only the paper. I did not jump. Not much.

I got in. It was just right. Many cats feel safe in small places.

If you see a cat in a box, leave the box where it is. And let the cat sleep.
